Snowy weekend
Here are some pictures from our snowy weekend!
Rudolph
Pizza! (One of Evan's favorites). His cheeks are rosy because we had been out playing in the snow.

What!? I'm trapped here all weekend with you people?
Evan likes to tickle Emma's hands and make her laugh
Emma's got Evan's Curious George, his light saber, and I think she's eying up his chair...
Playing with the snowman decorations
The wreath is made from Emma's hand prints (she made that at school) and Evan decorated the tree himself
Of course, gotta try it
We put him to work shoveling the driveway...
Cheeky monkey
Hoopla!
Hoopla again!
My little Arctic explorer
An actual quote: "Mommy, you take picture of me with big snowball?"
Mommy's snow angel
Making "paw prints"

Merry Christmas?
Here's Evan's addition to our Christmas town display.
Those people lying about are supposed to be happily skating. They move in circles and twirl, a beautiful holiday evening with friends and family on the town skating pond. Except, of course, now there's that tiger.

Thanksgiving at Grandma's
We spent Thanksgiving at Grandma Nancy's house! Our trip was a bit delayed due all of us getting a nasty stomach bug, but we finally made it and had a wonderful time (as always). It's really not fair to get sick right before a holiday that centers around food (oh yeah, and family and thanks and all that too...) but I managed to get my fill of all the good stuff and got to enjoy leftovers for a few days after (bonus!). I'm not ashamed to have a plate full of turkey, stuffing, potatoes and gravy for breakfast.
We had lots of fun on our visit. Evan got to go to the "train store" (Snow's) a few times. He also went to the post office and met the post man which is cool because we have a drive-up post office at home so he's never been in one before. He got to see his favorites - the windmill and the lighthouse. We went to the doughnut store and the chocolate store (he doesn't like candy, but he has a Curious George book where George goes to the Chocolate Factory so Evan likes to go the "chocolate store" like George). We even went to the beach!
We had a great time. Thanks Grandma and Dryden!

"Oohh, let me play with that!"
Trying a bit of turkey
"Well that's...different"
Awww, hugs
Blowing raspberries (a new favorite)
Mmmmmm
The Jeffrey trio
Tired, sick mommy, with beautiful Emma
At the beach (it was freezing)
"Hey look, there's the lighthouse!"
And he's off...
Nabbed by Grandma. Nice try Evan.
"Now tell me honestly, is the gold one a bit too much?"
Evan watching Thomas go by
Snow's was crazy because Santa was there. It was a bit overwhelming.
We asked Grandma to make a vest for Emma because sometimes it's chilly at school in the mornings. This was a "practice" vest. Emma loves it!
