Vinny's Birthday!

Today Evan and I went to his friend Vinny's birthday party at My Gym. Even though he was working on only a 30 minute nap, Evan had a blast! He was so enthusiastic about all of the little games that they did and he enjoyed playing on the equipment. He got to go on the zip line swing and take a ride on a little Thomas. But the best thing of all was that Elmo was there!! Evan was the only kid to go up to Elmo at first, the rest were pretty timid. It was so cute to see his face light up when he got to interact with Elmo. He got hugs and Elmo played catch with him. It was a great way to spend the afternoon!

Turtles and lizards and butterflies - oh my!

Today we all took a trip to Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory! I kept asking Evan yesterday and this morning if he wanted to go see lots and lots of butterflies (because he likes seeing them in our yard) but he kept saying, "No." So the excitement factor wasn't there for him, but once we got there, he had an awesome time! We were pretty much the only people there (except for a few photographers taking pictures), so Evan got some quality time with the butterflies and the other animals.
