Happy Birthday Ian!!!

Happy Birthday to my funny, talented, clever son who turns--can it be?--18 years old today! Which means the next time we go out to eat when I visit, when I say, "Glass of water please," he can say "I'll have a glass of water, too--. No wait, on second thought, make it a whiskey over vodka with a jigger of gin tossed in for luck."

Emma's Birthday!

Emma had her first "friend" birthday party on Sunday! Lots of kids came to celebrate and everyone seemed to have a great time. Emma had picked out a Peppa Pig cake, which all of the kids liked. I think we had one very happy birthday girl!

After visiting Grandma Nancy over Thanksgiving and getting her tree with her, Evan was excited to put our tree up (yes, ours comes out of a box). Unfortunately the lights weren't all working. I fixed them on Monday so he had to wait until after school on Monday to decorate. He was excited when he got home and went straight to work. My sweet little elf!
