Emma sings the ABCs
The other day I walked by the bathroom and heard singing. Turns out that Emma had found the letter tiles we had stacked in there to clean them, and she was having a ball singing away and playing with the letters. She obviously gets her beautiful singing voice from me ;-) Enjoy!

Evan's Birthday Party!!
This weekend we had a birthday party for Evan! He and his friends had a blast. We were concerned about the snowy weather, but it cleared up by party time and everyone was able to make it.
We had the party at an "indoor playground" with a bouncy house, monkey bars, ball pits, and even a roller coaster. The best part was that Evan had a great time! He was a very happy birthday boy!
Evan and Emma were blurs in the bouncy house. Emma stayed in there for quite a while, holding her own against the 4 year olds
There were obstacle courses and tents too. But it was basically a free-for-all with lots of different things to do
The playground overlooks one of the rinks at the International Skating Center (seen in the background).
My little monkey
Good thing Grandma Jane was there to keep an eye on Emma or who knows where we would have found her!
Craziness in the ball pit
It's the best thing ever to see Evan having so much fun on his special day!
The first one on the roller coaster! He was very brave
Weeeeeeeeee!
Hooray for the birthday boy! Happy Birthday Evan!

Science Center
Ever since Evan went to the Science Center in Hartford with John, Jessie, and Ian this past summer, he's been asking to go back. So on Friday I took the day off from work and Evan and I went on our own special adventure. We got to the Science Center right when it opened and Evan had a few things he remembered that he wanted to go to right away. We had lunch at the cafe, then played a little more before heading home (I don't think we were even out of the parking garage before Evan was asleep). It was a very fun day!
Who doesn't like throwing plastic balls into a water tornado? (I may have tossed a few in myself...)
Running up the biggest staircase EVER!
His Rocky Moment. A little premature, but he did make it all the way to the top eventually.
Big foam blocks!
Cutting out a flying thingy from a paper cone. Then he flew it over some blowers. I think he just liked getting to use the scissors!
Playing with Legos. That's quite the view!
Holding his ears in the "Grossology" exhibit because it was loud in there. But not at all bothered by hanging out in an enormous nose.
Back for a little more water play after lunch. A fun end to a special adventure!
