Girls Day Out

Emma and I had a fantastic girls day out! We went to see Frozen on Ice at the XL Center in Hartford. It was so much fun! Emma dressed up for the occasion (they encourage the little kids to dress up) and she really enjoyed the show. We had awesome seats too! Going into the city and into a big, loud arena could have been overwhelming, so I was so glad that Emma had fun! Aside from me forgetting which level I parked the car on in the parking garage and the elevator being out so we had to walk from floor to floor to find the car, it was a perfect day with my special girl!

Emma's Birthday!

Baby Emma turned 5! I can't believe it! She is the most spirited, energetic little kid I've ever met. She loves to snuggle and play (and annoy her brother from time to time - like a good little sister should). She's doing an amazing job in Kindergarten - learning to read and write sentences. She constantly surprises us with things that she's learned and the things that she can do. I still think of her as a little one. I have to remind myself that she's a big girl now!
