Our One Year Anniversary!

So we made it through the first year - phew! =) To celebrate, we went down to Water's Edge. When we got married they gave us a gift certificate for a free anniversary dinner, so we took them up on the offer. The dinner was amazing. Filet mignon for me, sea bass for John.
We were so stuffed that we ended up taking our desserts back to our room (turtle cheesecake for me, chocolate cake for John, just in case you were wondering). It made a great snack later on.

We stayed there Saturday night in a lovely room. It had a balcony that looked out over the ocean. Gorgeous.

It was the perfect way to celebrate our first year as a married couple!

We ordered two breakfasts from room service on Sunday morning and this is what we got! We thought they had doubled our order...

It started to rain as we ate breakfast, which was actually very fitting because it was raining when we ate breakfast in our room the day after the wedding. It felt so nice and cozy, like we were the only two people in the world. Very romantic.
