Birthday Party #1

We split Evan's birthday into two parties because he's just that special and he's got so many people that want to celebrate his first birthday.
The first party was with my side of the family. It was so much fun having everyone together! Thanks to everyone for making it such a fun day for Evan =)

Grandma and Dryden came to stay with us for the weekend. It was a great treat for Evan! He talks to them every morning on Skype, so it was fun to get to see them in person. Plus, he got to open some of his presents early!



Then it was party time! The party started at Evan's nap time, so he was a little sleepy, but he hung in there. This was the first time Evan got to have cake. He LOVED it!











Evan didn't quite make it to the end of the party, he needed his nap. But when he woke up, Grandma and Dryden were still there, so at least he got to give them a proper send-off! Thanks for a great day everybody!!
