Here's a picture of our little girl!
The ultrasounds are fun (and kind of freaky sometimes). It's amazing what they can do and all the stuff they check. We got to see her heart beating, her brain, stomach, bladder, kidneys, and spine, We counted 10 little fingers and 10 little toes (yay!).
The coolest thing was when we first started and I saw her and said "Hi there little peanut" and we happened to be looking at her face at the time and her mouth opened and shut. It was pretty clear she was saying "Hi Mommy!" even though we couldn't hear her. So cute =)
We found out that she was a girl pretty early on in the ultrasound, so it was fun to see her and talk to her and not have to call her "it". I have to say, I had a very strong feeling that she was a girl (just like I felt with Evan being a boy). I would've felt a little weird and kind of guilty had I been wrong...
We're so excited to welcome this new addition to our family! It's tough to see her and still have to wait 20 more weeks before I get to hold her, but we'll both be keeping ourselves pretty busy. I'm sure the time will fly by!
