Simsbury Fly-in

We took Evan to the Simsbury Fly-in, which is a little fair at the Simsbury Airport. They had lots of airplanes out on the field so Evan got to see them up close. We also saw quite a few airplanes fly onto the runway and we were just leaving when the Lifestar helicopter came in, but it hovered right above us before landing, so Evan got a good look at it. OH! And we had a pancake breakfast there too! That was the highlight for me. Pancakes (with butter and syrup) and sausage and I didn't have to make it myself! Evan loved the pancakes too. I like when we go out and he eats what we're eating and enjoys it. It makes life much easier (and also makes me feel like a more capable parent - I'll take all the help I can get). Anyway, we all had a great time!
Evan and John watching a plane land (it's the yellow plane out on the runway). The planes looked much closer when were were there. It was pretty cool actually.

This was the Lifestar helicopter coming in to land as we were leaving. You can tell Evan was a little sleepy, he was more interested in his Lovey and his pacifier than the helicopter.
