We took Evan to the Simsbury Fly-in, which is a little fair at the Simsbury Airport. They had lots of airplanes out on the field so Evan got to see them up close. We also saw quite a few airplanes fly onto the runway and we were just leaving when the Lifestar helicopter came in, but it hovered right above us before landing, so Evan got a good look at it. OH! And we had a pancake breakfast there too! That was the highlight for me. Pancakes (with butter and syrup) and sausage and I didn't have to make it myself! Evan loved the pancakes too. I like when we go out and he eats what we're eating and enjoys it. It makes life much easier (and also makes me feel like a more capable parent - I'll take all the help I can get). Anyway, we all had a great time!

| Evan and John watching a plane land (it's the yellow plane out on the runway). The planes looked much closer when were were there. It was pretty cool actually. |

| This was the Lifestar helicopter coming in to land as we were leaving. You can tell Evan was a little sleepy, he was more interested in his Lovey and his pacifier than the helicopter. |
