Evan and Emma have been having lots of fun in the past few weeks. A visit to Grandma Nancy's house, Day out with Thomas, a visit from Grandma Jane, SeptemberFest, and the Simsbury Fly-in. We don't have any pictures of the Fly-in because Evan and I went ourselves and it was a little bit tough to get pictures, but a helicopter landed right in front of us, he went in the bouncy house twice, and he got to ride a big pony! I think the pony was his favorite, he had a huge grin on his face the whole time and they took him out amongst the people walking around the festival, so everyone waved and smiled at him. He was on cloud nine!
Day out with Thomas was fun even though it rained. Emma got to spend some quality time at Grandma Nancy's house while Evan, Daddy, and I went to see Thomas. Evan got onto his first amusement park ride (the wiggly caterpillar) but he wouldn't sit down and put the seat belt on, so we had to get off before it started. But he enjoyed seeing Thomas and going for his first train ride, so all-in-all, the day was a success!
