We got our new car!

We picked up our new car yesterday! It's so bright and shiny and the windows are clean and it smells nice. I love it!

It has one of those miles per gallon gauges which tells us exactly how many miles per gallon we're getting at any one time. It can be very distracting though because it goes up and down as we drive (in addition to showing us our average MPG). When I coast on the highway, I get about 80 miles per gallon - nice! But on average, we're getting about 38 mpg. Not bad.

I like that I can keep an eye on our new little car at all times to make sure that it isn't being harassed by any wild animals, sticky bugs, or skate-boarding kids ...
