Sunday at the Cape - Guest Blogger

Hello!

So here I am, guest blogging about, well, me and my family. Odd. Anyway, I should probably introduce myself. I'm Ian (who I'm sure you've heard about throughout the blog). Dad suggested I guest blog on this site and yesterday seemed like a perfect day to guest blog about...there's so much to say!

The first thing we did was go to Cuffy's, a shop selling only Cape Cod clothing, like T-Shirts, sweat shirts and Raincoats. I got a couple of things; a Cape Cod T-Shirt and a Cape Cod Raincoat. Jess got a sweatshirt and Dad and Amy got, well, nothing.

Moving on, we went to the Ice Cream place right across the street. I had a raspberry sorbet and Jessie had a ginger flavor (all kinds of weird ice cream flavors around these days). Dad got a hot fudge sundae and Amy got a hot fudge sundae with peanut butter sauce and chocolate ice cream.

We also went for a walk at the National Seashore, along a big saltwater lake that connected to the sea.

We saw some swans...beautiful birds.

And I sat in the same curved tree that dad did (it's on the blog somewhere)

It was a cool walk, but really hot, so we were a little sweaty by the end. Amy's mom, Nancy, and her boyfriend, Dryden, lived just up/down the road from the National Seashore. Julia was there...

And so were Caroline and Emily...

After some pizza, we went out on Amy's brother's, Tim's, boat.

As we pulled out of the harbor, we started going fast...at least 40MPH.

First, we checked the Lobster traps.

We only found 1 lobster. Caroline put on the rubber bands, which, from what I understand, is very hard.

We did some fishing

I caught a Striped Bass (Striper)

And so did Jess

It was starting to get dark so we headed home for the day afterwards.

Quite a day!
