Today Grandma Jane came for a visit and we all went to the "Celebrate Granby" fair. Evan isn't very interested in rides and games, but he loves bouncy houses, so he had lots of fun going into those (although at $3 a pop, it gets expensive!).
We also went down a huge slide and watched a team of kids do a dancing/acrobatics performance. Evan was captivated by that. I think he wanted to join in. The lady gave me their card and said that they have classes for kids as young as 2, so we'll see. Although if it involves any sort of prancing or spandex, John may veto it.
Evan and Emma also got to sit in a real fire truck, Evan got a red balloon to carry around, and we ran into his friend Will from school, so they got to play for a while. It was lots of fun and even more special because Grandma Jane came along too. What an exciting morning!!

| "Where are we headed today boys?" |
| Emma in the fire truck! |
| The biggest slide ever! |
| More bouncy house fun |

| Evan seemed to notice every time some little kid's balloon floated away. I don't think he was necessarily "upset" by it, but he did seem a little annoyed at the waste of perfectly good balloons... |

| Evan and his friend Will. "Hey Will, you don't really want that lollipop, do you?" |

| The reason Daddy says he has no hair left... |
| And the day wouldn't be complete without a head first slide! |
