Halloween

It's not yet a Halloween house, so we didn't take the kids out. Neither Evan nor Emma really understand what Halloween means (free candy!) and Evan doesn't even like candy yet. (I have no idea which side of the family that came from.)

Here are a few photos of the kids in their costumes at daycare. Emma's wearing a Peek-a-Boo shirt and a Grandma-made pumpkin knit cap. (It's hard to see, but there's a green leafy bit on the top.) Evan wore a "Chuck the Truck" costume. A red dump truck with a yellow bed (a backpack on the costume). I don't think he knew why we let him wear a costume to daycare, but he sure liked it.

No, those teeth are not part of the costume.

The kids had a Halloween parade at daycare. The little ones were pushed around in a crib.

Well, "parade" might be an optimistic description. In this shot, you can almost see the wheels on the side of Evan's costume.

Chuck the Truck!
